Job Description

We are hiring for a Payroll Manager We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to lead payroll operations across the U.S. and Canada, supporting a workforce over 15,000 employees. This is a high-impact, visible role responsible for delivering accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll processes while driving continuous improvement and strong internal customer service. What You'll Do Lead end-to-end payroll operations across North America, ensuring timely and accurate processing for hourly and salaried employees Oversee multi-cycle payroll processing, including tax, garnishments, general ledger, and reporting Ensure compliance with SOX requirements, internal controls, and federal/state/provincial regulations Manage and develop a high-performing payroll team, providing guidance on complex payroll issues Partner cross-functionally with HR, HRIS, Finance, Tax, and Accounting to ensure seamless payroll execution Drive process improvements, system enhancements, and payroll-related technology initiatives Oversee payroll accounting activities, including reconciliations and month/quarter/year-end reporting Ensure accurate and timely payroll tax filings, deposits, and year-end processes (W-2s, etc.) Maintain and enhance payroll procedures, documentation, and audit readiness Analyze payroll data and metrics to improve operational efficiency and service quality What You Bring 5+ years of payroll experience in an in-house environment Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Strong knowledge of payroll tax, accounting, and compliance practices Experience managing payroll operations at scale and navigating complex HR/payroll processes Proven leadership experience with the ability to develop and lead diverse teams Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Experience with HRIS systems (SuccessFactors/Employee Central preferred) Nice to Have Experience implementing payroll or timekeeping system enhancements Background supporting manufacturing or hourly workforce environments Experience with SOX controls and audit processes Relocation assistance is not available.
