Senior Lead Payroll Operations for a Growing Organization Our client is seeking an experienced Director of Payroll to lead payroll operations and ensure accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing across a multi-state organization. Key Responsibilities Lead all payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing. Develop and implement payroll policies, procedures, and best practices. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations. Manage payroll systems, reporting, audits, and reconciliations. Partner with Human Resources, Finance, and leadership on payroll-related initiatives. Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and increase efficiency. Lead, mentor, and develop payroll team members. Support year-end payroll activities, tax reporting, and compliance requirements.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of payroll leadership experience. Strong knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance. Experience managing payroll systems and reporting. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and leadership abilities.
Preferred:
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation. Experience managing multi-state payroll operations. Experience with HRIS and enterprise payroll systems. Travel Up to 20% travel may be required.
Pay:
$145,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
