  • We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Payroll Manager to join our team in the Construction industry.
This is a pivotal role within our organization that will oversee the entire payroll function, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant regulations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in HRIS implementation and HR & Finance strategy, with a proven track record of managing complex payroll systems. This role is integral to our business operations and offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on our company's success.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the full-cycle payroll process for the company, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions. Implement, maintain, and review payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices. Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to align and streamline payroll procedures and ensure accuracy of financial data. Lead HRIS implementation projects, ensuring systems are optimized to meet the business needs and improve efficiency. Develop and implement payroll policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and ensure compliance. Prepare and present reports on payroll operations to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvements. Manage and resolve issues relating to payroll production.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of payroll management experience, preferably in the construction industry. Proficient with HRIS implementation and HR & Finance strategy. Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations related to salaries, wages, taxes, benefits, and other payroll-related matters. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization. High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
