Job Description

Description This position requires someone that is detail oriented, with technical skills, critical thinking and the ability to analyze data while also working very closely with each payroll processing team member and department representatives across campus. Responsibilities involve but are not limited to: performing tax analysis for tax treaty benefits, ensuring salary adjustments are calculated correctly, FICA monitoring for students. Accurate analysis of reports and processes payroll adjustments based upon that review as necessary. Ensures proper record keeping and accuracy in every aspect of duties.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for technical, functional, and analytical support to employees and /or departments regarding the processing all payrolls and payroll operations. Assists employees/departments with problems and communicates with programmers to resolve issues. Also, responsible for submitting Oracle job requests with required parameters for all payrolls. Insures compliance with University mandated direct deposit program.
Salary range:
$47,665 - $77,455 Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field and three (3) years of related experience required. Work experience may substitute for education requirement.
Preferred qualifications:
Ideal candidate will have prior payroll experience, accounting knowledge and skilled in excel v-lookup.
