Job DescriptionJob Description Payroll Assistant Direct Hire Phoenix, AZ We are seeking a Payroll Assistant to join a growing team. In this role, you'll support payroll processing and related accounting duties.
Key Duties:
Assist with payroll processing, employee changes, deductions, and garnishments Assist in payroll updates, deductions, garnishments, and employee changes Maintain payroll records and update employee data Assist with W-9 collection and 1099 preparation Help with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash receiptsQualifications:
1 years of experience supporting payroll and accounting Understanding of payroll processes, employee deductions, and tax filings Experience with AP, AR, or invoice processing is preferred Excel, data entry, and organizational skills Why you might like the role: Stable, team-oriented environment Variety of payroll and accounting responsibilities Competitive salary and benefits Excellent benefits.
