Competitive, based on experience Position Overview This Payroll Specialist role supports payroll operations within a well-established CPA firm that services a diverse client base. The position is hands-on and focused on accurate payroll processing, employee record maintenance, reporting, and client support. - Increasing payroll volume across multiple clients

- Process payroll for single and multi-company environments
- Maintain employee payroll records including new hires, changes, and deductions
- Ensure accurate setup of taxes, benefits, and deductions
- Support payroll reporting and internal documentation
- Assist with payroll tax coordination and reconciliations
- Help support year-end processing including W-2 preparation
- Respond to payroll questions from clients and internal teams
- Partner with accounting and HR teams to resolve discrepancies
- Maintain accuracy and confidentiality across all payroll activities Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience
- Experience in multi-company or multi-state payroll environments preferred
- Strong understanding of payroll processes and reporting
- Familiarity with payroll systems (ADP or similar a plus)
- Experience with QuickBooks or accounting system integration helpful
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
- Clear communication and customer-service mindset Ideal Candidate
