Job Description

Our company continues to grow by focusing on customer service excellence and leading in technology. We seek top talent in the Security Industry. We are seeking a skilled Payroll Administrator to manage multi-state biweekly payroll for our fast-paced organization. The ideal candidate is confident with both automated and manual payroll calculations, has experience with prevailing wage compliance, and can thrive in a detail-oriented, high-volume environment. Maintain confidentiality of all employees personal and pay related data. Coordinate all payroll-related activity with the payroll vendor. Enter, audit, and process all employee and payroll-related data into the HRIS / payroll system. Process new hire paperwork, including employee personal information and employment data. Ensure proper tax forms, employment eligibility documentation, and payroll records are completed and maintained. Process payroll and status changes, including pay increases, classification changes, transfers, bonuses, commissions, and retroactive adjustments. Process employee separations and prepare final pay in accordance with applicable state requirements. Review, audit, and edit timecards in coordination with supervisory staff. Verify hours worked; unpaid time off, paid time off, insurance deductions, retirement contributions, pay variables, wage garnishments, tax deductions, and other payroll-related deductions. Perform manual payroll calculations as required, including corrections, off-cycle checks, and special pay scenarios. Prepare and reconcile timecard reports with payroll preview reports to identify and resolve discrepancies prior to payroll processing. Complete and process payroll-related forms and documentation for benefits deductions, retirement plans, unemployment and disability benefits, and wage garnishments. Prepare required payroll forms for government agencies and process wage garnishments. Prepare periodic payroll reports, including labor, earnings, deductions, and compliance reporting. Verify and assign prevailing wage rates to individual employees. Compile and submit certified payroll reports as required. Record payroll adjustments related to prior errors, audits, or retroactive pay changes. Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll earnings, deductions, taxes, and pay corrections. Stay current on federal, state, and local regulations related to payroll processing and wage payments. Maintain strict confidentiality of all employee personal and pay-related data. Non-Essential Functions Initiate and support special payroll projects as needed. Perform other payroll-related duties as assigned.
