We are hiring a Payroll Specialist with 3-5 years of experience to manage full-cycle payroll processing for 800-1,000+ employees in a fast-paced, in-office environment. This role requires strong expertise in payroll taxes, garnishments, compliance, and multi-state payroll. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll while supporting employee inquiries and maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations. Required Qualifications 3-5 years of consecutive payroll experience (full-cycle required) Experience processing payroll for 800+ employees (high volume preferred) Strong knowledge of:
- Payroll taxes and compliance
- Garnishments, tax levies, and wage attachments
- Federal and California labor laws Experience with multi-state payroll administration Familiarity with:
- W-2 and W-2C processing
- EDD audits and reporting
- Prevailing wage and certified payroll Proficiency in payroll/accounting systems such as:
- QuickBooks, Datatech, Gusto
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel required) Experience with:
- Timekeeping and attendance systems
- General ledger reconciliations
