Essential Job Functions:
The Payroll Specialist is responsible for the maintenance and proper execution of Certified and hourly payroll. Our payroll specialist is required to Manage payroll functions including: timecard processing, benefits administration, and timekeeping.
Perform timekeeping duties such as:
Timekeeping accountability, Timekeeping reports, Timecard reconciliation, Timecard maintenance, Timekeeping audits and compliance. Assist with the preparation of monthly payroll reports. Ensure prevailing wage jobs are compliant with the Department of Industry Relations. Provide Certified Payroll Reports to DIR and General Contractors. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Payroll role. Knowledge in timekeeping, payroll functions, and Quickbooks required. Prevailing Wage time-keeping required.
