In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring compliance with employment and labor laws, and maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information. Your expertise will help streamline payroll operations, support HR initiatives, and uphold the accuracy of financial and payroll data across various systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced organization dedicated to operational excellence and employee satisfaction. Responsibilities Process payroll accurately and efficiently using Paycor payroll systems, ensuring timely delivery of employee wages and benefits. Manage payroll data entry, including hours worked, deductions, taxes, and benefits administration, maintaining high levels of accuracy. Reconcile payroll accounts and perform journal entries to ensure proper general ledger accounting and compliance with financial standards. Stay current on employment & labor law, tax law, and payroll tax regulations to ensure ongoing compliance across all payroll activities. Support benefits administration processes and assist with audits related to payroll tax filings and governmental reporting requirements. Collaborate with accounting teams on accounts payable/receivable processes and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information. Skills Proven experience working with Paycor payroll systems is essential and mandatory; only apply if have Paycor experience. Strong knowledge of corporate accounting principles including double entry bookkeeping, general ledger reconciliation, debits & credits, and journal entries. Expertise in Paycor payroll management software combined with proficiency in spreadsheets and financial software for analysis and reporting purposes. Deep understanding of employment & labor law, tax law, payroll tax regulations, and labor law compliance to ensure accurate processing. Excellent data entry skills (10 key typing), attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information securely. Familiarity with time & attendance systems such as Kronos or similar tools to track employee hours accurately. Strong analysis skills related to payroll processing, account reconciliation, benefits administration, and non-profit or governmental accounting if applicable.
