Job Description:
The Sr Payroll Analyst is responsible for overseeing and executing payroll functions to ensure timely and accurate payment to associates. This role involves leading a team, managing payroll processes, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and providing strategic insights to improve payroll operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of payroll practices, and the ability to handle complex payroll issues with efficiency and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurate and timely processing of all payroll aspects, including salary, bonuses, benefits, and deductions. Ensure rigorous compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll laws and best practices through regular audits. Develop, implement, and continuously enhance payroll policies, procedures, and systems to optimize efficiency and accuracy. Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to resolve complex payroll inquiries and maintain seamless operations. Manage the preparation and distribution of all essential payroll reports, including year-end W-2 forms and related filings.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in payroll processing, including demonstrated leadership, with extensive proficiency in ADP, eTime, and Workday. Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations, coupled with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure accuracy and compliance. Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent experience; highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
