Our client, a major media and entertainment organization, offers a dynamic environment that values operational excellence. This temporary role is based in a hybrid setting-on-site during critical periods-and requires 27-52 weeks of commitment.
Senior Payroll Analyst Responsibilities:
Conduct and oversee detailed audits and reconciliations of payroll and related financial data. Serve as a subject matter expert on multi-jurisdictional payroll compliance, including tax laws and labor regulations. Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external payroll audits, ensuring thorough documentation. Identify opportunities to streamline processes, implement automation, and improve system functionality. Assist with configuration, testing, and integration of payroll systems such as Workday, UKG, and ADP.
Senior Payroll Analyst Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. At least 5 years of payroll experience within a large, complex, multi-state environment. Proficiency with payroll systems (Workday, UKG/Kronos, ADP) and advanced Excel skills. Deep knowledge of payroll tax regulations, wage and hour laws, and internal controls. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets, plus excellent communication abilities. CPP certification is highly preferred.
