Full Job Description Job Location:
Diamond Bar, CA PFS is looking for an entry level HR Support and Payroll Specialist with outstanding administrative and communication skills. The ideal candidate is expected to be tech-savvy with superb organizational and time management skills. For more information on our company, please visit https://www.pfsonline.com/ To ensure success, the HR Support and Payroll Specialist should display remarkable decision-making skills with a solid understanding of employee relationships, staffing management, and payroll and benefits administration. Top candidates will be superb at problem-solving, efficient in scheduling, and precise in the recruitment process.
Duties:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resources files, digital-records, and documentation in CRM system. Answer frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management. Perform periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected, scanned, and filed appropriately into CRM. Provides clerical support to the HR department. May assist with payroll functions, answering employee questions, and assist with correcting processing errors. Occasionally act as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and clients, which may include health, disability, and retirement plan providers. Reviewing timesheets for accuracy Entering data into databases and spreadsheets Processing paper checks for distribution Processing wage garnishments Making adjustments in pay for raises, bonuses and commission Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must type 55 WPM or above (you will be tested) Any payroll, recruiting, sourcing, onboarding experience is a plus, but not required. Full-time availability at 40 hours a week, Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm. Must be proficient with computers/able to troubleshoot common computer technical issues.
