Job Description

We are seeking a Benefits & Payroll Assistant to join a client in Fremont. This is a 3 month contract position. This role is 100% onsite. Key Responsibilities Support benefits billing reconciliation, invoice review, payment requests, and billing discrepancy follow-up. Assist with payroll follow-ups, including missing timecards and employee/manager reminders. Support state notice tracking and agency/vendor follow-up. Help maintain payroll/benefits records and support audits, reports, and data validation. Coordinate with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, vendors, and agencies as needed. Support other C&B projects as assigned. Current Support Areas Timecard follow-up State agency calls and correspondence Ad hoc payroll/benefits support Benefits invoices/reconciliations, including VSP, ARAG, Cigna, Kaiser, Health Advocate, and AON-related items Key Qualifications Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable Comfortable with Excel and reports Strong follow-up and communication skills Problem-solving mindset Willing to learn and take on new tasks Collaborative and able to work with different teams Workday or payroll/benefits experience is preferred, but we can train the right person All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
