Job Description:
Ultimate Staffing is seeking an experienced a Payroll Specialist. This is a temp to hire position starting at $22 an hour DOE. Key Responsibilities Process weekly, bi-weekly, or semi-monthly payroll for employees. Review and verify timesheets, deductions, bonuses, and payroll adjustments. Maintain employee payroll records and ensure data accuracy. Calculate and process wage garnishments, deductions, and benefits. Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies. Prepare payroll reports and support audits and compliance requirements. Coordinate with Human Resources regarding new hires, terminations, and employee changes. Ensure compliance with payroll laws, tax regulations, and company policies. Qualifications 2+ years of payroll experience preferred. Knowledge of payroll systems and Microsoft Excel. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
