HR, Payroll & Accounts Specialist- Skilled Nursing Facility Golden Harbor Healthcare - 5.0 Hayward, CA Job Details Full-time $35 - $42 an hour 1 hour ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Spanish Expense management ADP English Organizational skills Full Job Description Job Description The HR, Payroll & Accounts Payable Specialist supports the daily operational backbone of the skilled nuring facility by managing employee lifecycle processes, ensuring accurate andtimely payroll, and maintaining compliant financial workflows. This role is central to maintaning regulatory compliance, supporting staff, and safeguarding the financial integrity of the organization Key Responsibilities Human Resources (HR) Coordinate full-cycle on boarding and offboarding, including background checks, new hire packets, I-9 verification, and orientation scheduling. Maintain, personnel files in accordance with CDPH, DSS, and federal/state regulations. Track credentials, TB/physical renewals, in-service training, and mandatory certifications. Support employee relations by documenting concerns, assisting with investigations, and ensuring consistent policy application. Prepare HR reports for audits, surveys, and leadership Payroll Process semi-monthly payroll for all facility staff, ensuring accuracy in hours, differentials, overtime, meal penalties, and wage adjustments. Maintain compliance with California labor laws, including rest/meal break rules, wage statements, and minimum wage requirements. Manage PTO accruals, sick leave balances, and leave-of-absence tracking (FMLA, CFRA, Workers' Comp). Reconcile payroll reports, address discrepancies, and coordinate with the payroll vendor. Accounts Payable (AP) Process vendor invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments. Maintain organized AP records for audits and regulatory reviews. Reconcile statements, resolve vendor issues, and support month-end closing. Assist with budget tracking and expense categorization. Qualifications Experience in HR, payroll, or AP within a healthcare or skilled nursing environment preferred. Strong understanding of California labor law and healthcare compliance standards. Proficiency with payroll systems (e.g., iSolved, ADP, Paycom, Kronos) and AP software. Excellent attention to detail, confidentiality, and organizational skills. Bilingual skills (English/Spanish/Tagalog) highly valued in Hayward's diverse workforce. Pay:
$35.00 - $42.00 per hour
