Job Description

Reliant HR is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Administrator to join our Payroll Department. This role is responsible for assisting with payroll processing, including reviewing and processing employee timecards, entering payroll data into payroll software such as Intuit QuickBooks, printing payroll checks, and preparing client invoices. We are looking for candidates with prior payroll and data entry experience who can work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail is essential, as payroll accuracy directly impacts both our clients and employees. While we are happy to provide training on our internal processes, applicants must possess a solid foundation of payroll knowledge and experience. This is a full-time, in-person position, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The pay range is $25.00•28.00 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated performance. Responsibilities Process employee payroll accurately and on schedule Review and verify employee timecards for accuracy Enter payroll data and employee information into payroll systems Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations Prepare, maintain, and reconcile payroll records and reports Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and related issues Assist with payroll-related accounts payable functions Generate payroll checks and client invoices as needed Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information Qualifications Previous payroll administration experience required Strong data entry and 10-key skills with a high level of accuracy Experience with payroll software, preferably Intuit QuickBooks Knowledge of payroll procedures, payroll taxes, and compliance requirements Familiarity with general ledger accounting principles Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion Bilingual (preferred)
