Job:
Payroll Specialist Location:
Redwood City, CA Onsite:
3x onsite per week
Hourly Pay:
$45 - $50 / hour, depending on experience
Benefits:
This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). We are partnering with a growing technology company in Redwood City that is looking for a hands-on Payroll Specialist to join their team on a contract basis. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong high-volume payroll experience, exceptional Excel skills, and a background in union payroll.
What You'll Do:
Process and support high-volume payroll in a fast-paced environment . Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries . Support payroll audits, reconciliations, and analysis . Work closely with the Payroll team and cross-functional partners . Assist with the transition to ADP Workforce Now .
What We're Looking For:
Experience processing payroll for 1,000+ employees preferred . Union payroll experience, including familiarity with Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs), strongly preferred . Strong understanding of payroll processes and the ability to independently troubleshoot issues . Exceptional Excel skills, including formulas, IF statements, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, PivotTables, and other tools used for payroll audits and analysis . Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working under tight deadlines . Self-directed and able to work independently with minimal direction . Hands-on, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced payroll environment . Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
