Job Description
A growing organization is seeking a Payroll Specialist to support a payroll system implementation project. This role will play a key part in parallel payroll testing, validation, and reconciliation efforts while also assisting with day-to-day payroll processing activities. Experience participating in a payroll system implementation is highly preferred, and Workday Payroll experience is a plus.
Key ResponsibilitiesExecute and support parallel payroll testing during a payroll system implementation.
Compare legacy payroll results to new system outputs and identify discrepancies.
Research, document, and resolve payroll variances during testing cycles.
Assist with payroll processing, audits, and payroll reconciliations.
Validate employee earnings, deductions, taxes, and benefit calculations.
Partner with HR, Finance, and implementation teams to ensure data accuracy and timely issue resolution.
Maintain testing documentation, payroll records, and process workflows.
Support payroll compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
