Salary:
$60,000-70,000 annually, based on experience
Benefits:
This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision and 401(k) The Payroll Specialist will support end-to-end payroll processing for our workforce of 2,000+ employees. This role ensures accurate, timely, and compliant payroll operations while partnering closely with HR and Accounting to maintain data integrity across systems.
Responsibilities:
Assist with end-to-end payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and benefits accurately Verify and maintain employee time records, attendance, and leave balances Complete employee onboarding and process terminations within payroll systems Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations, including tax withholdings Prepare and distribute payroll reports and required tax filings, including W-2s, 1099s, and other related documents Stay informed of changes to payroll laws, tax rates, and regulatory requirements Support internal and external audits and assist with payroll-related reporting as needed Manage employment verifications and respond to employee payroll-related inquiries Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely manner Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements Partner with HR and Accounting teams to ensure accurate integration of payroll data across systems Assist with year-end payroll processing, reconciliation, and reporting
Systems:
Paycom, NetSuite Excel:
pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and formula creation
Requirements:
2+ years of payroll processing experience, preferably in a mid-to-large organization Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Human Resources, or related field preferred Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations and compliance requirements Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
