Job Description:
We are seeking a polished and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to manage full-cycle payroll operations in a multi-jurisdictional environment. This role requires strong payroll knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to confidently communicate experience and problem-solving approaches. This position is paying between $70k and $80k depending on experience. Responsibilities Process and reconcile full-cycle domestic and international payrolls across multiple jurisdictions Audit timesheets, expense reports, payroll deductions, and taxable benefits Conduct regular payroll audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and international regulations Stay current on payroll legislation and labor laws; implement changes as needed Prepare ad hoc and custom payroll reports for leadership, auditors, and external stakeholders Complete state labor surveys and employment/income verification requests Reconcile payroll data with HR and Finance records Serve as the primary contact for payroll-related employee and management inquiries Educate employees on payroll processes, tax forms, and self-service tools Document payroll procedures and identify opportunities for process improvement Partner with HR, IT, and Finance on system implementations and special projects Required Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree (required; field of study does not matter) 2-4 years of experience in a full-cycle payroll environment Strong communication skills and ability to clearly articulate payroll experience Intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP or XLOOKUP, and conditional formatting (tested during interview process) All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
