With a 40+ year legacy as an award‑winning General Contractor, we're searching for a Payroll Administrator with strong Certified Payroll experience to join our team in Thornton, CO. This role is essential to ensuring accurate, compliant payroll for our W‑2 and Union employees—especially on public works projects requiring certified payroll reporting. You will support prevailing wage compliance, regulatory reporting, and data accuracy, serving as a central resource for employees, auditors, and project teams. Why Join ICM?

Impact:
Play a critical role supporting workforce payroll, compliance, and regulatory reporting requirements. What You'll Do Lead Certified Payroll submissions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local prevailing wage requirements. Prepare, verify, and submit reports in LCP Tracker (strongly preferred) and/or other public works reporting systems, including
DOL & WH-437.
Complete owner-controlled insurance program (OCIP) reporting. Maintain detailed payroll records for audits, compliance, and retention. Support all regulatory reporting such as prevailing wage, certified payroll, tax filings, and project‑specific requirements, with additional assistance on union reporting as needed.
What You'll Bring Education & Experience:
High school diploma required; college degree preferred. Minimum 2 years of Certified Payroll experience required (public works/prevailing wage). Experience with union payroll strongly preferred.
Core Payroll Systems:
Proficiency in payroll software (ComputerEase or similar platforms preferred). LCP Tracker experience required.
Technical Aptitude:
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data validation). Strong understanding of payroll systems and their impact. Ability to troubleshoot payroll discrepancies and system-related errors.
Data Management & Reporting:
Experience with certified payroll reporting systems and electronic document retention. Ability to generate, audit, and interpret payroll and regulatory reports. Knowledge of data security protocols for sensitive employee information.
Compliance & Regulatory Knowledge:
Knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations. Familiarity with FLSA, wage and hour laws, union payroll requirements, and prevailing wage laws.
