Job Description
A contracting firm in Stamford is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join their growing team. The Payroll Administrator will process timely and accurate multi-state payroll for 500+ employees, with an expectation and commitment to operational excellence, compliance, and employee support, as needed. Key ResponsibilitiesManage full-cycle, multi-state payroll processing for 500+ employees (bi-weekly cycle)Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations, including tax filings and wage lawsAdminister and optimize payroll systems, including ADP and WorkdayMaintain payroll records, reports, and audits with a high level of accuracy and confidentialityCoordinate with HR, Finance, and project management teams to ensure seamless payroll operationsHandle complex payroll scenarios including union payroll, prevailing wage, bonuses, and deductionsLead payroll audits and support internal/external audit processesTroubleshoot payroll discrepancies and resolve employee inquiries in a timely mannerImplement process improvements and best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracyIf interested, please email your resume directly to anthony.riccio@roberthalf(.com)
