Job Description

Experteer Overview In this role, you support end-to-end US payroll and assist with monthly Canada payroll under the Payroll Manager. You audit and reconcile data to ensure accuracy and help maintain payroll tax compliance across states. You collaborate with Finance and Human Capital to optimize processes and document procedures for consistency. You will work in a deadline-driven environment to deliver accurate, timely payroll and insightful reports, enabling reliable payroll operations and customer service.
Compensation / Benefits
  • Support end-to-end US payroll and monthly Canada payroll processing
  • Maintain and audit employee records with deductions
  • Audit HR and Payroll data for inconsistencies and ensure data accuracy
  • Prepare payroll and ad hoc reports
  • Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and quality
  • Establish written procedures documenting compliance and processes
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Collaborate with Finance and Human Capital partners to coordinate resources
  • Act as a subject matter expert on multi-state payroll tax compliance Tasks
  • 4+ years of payroll experience
  • Extensive knowledge of payroll tax requirements across multiple states, including reciprocity rules and local tax jurisdictions
  • UKG Payroll software and Workday experience
  • Proficiency in MS Excel
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business (or equivalent experience) Key requirements
