Baugher Hospitality Group, a Brevard County, Florida hospitality management and real estate development firm, owner/operator of the Radisson Resort at the Port, Four Points by Sheraton, Cocoa Beach Suites, Cocoa Beach Surf Company and various other entities is seeking an onsite Payroll Specialist to join our growing team. The Payroll Specialist will assist and oversee aspects of the weekly payroll workflow including processing, accounting for payroll, payroll taxes, payroll audits, payroll reporting, labor allocation & billing, prepare payroll journal entries. E-Verify Objectives and Responsibilities:

Assisting in the weekly payroll functions for over 300 employees. Answer employee questions and requests regarding payroll. Assist in the timely and accurate data and time entry of all payroll information (new employees, terminations, status/changes, etc.) in relevant systems. Respond to inquiries and research discrepancies. Working closely with HR to provide day to day support and assistance to the HR Director with tasks and projects. Maintain and exercise the highest level of confidentiality at all times.

Skills & Experience:

Accounting background is highly preferred. At least five years of payroll experience required. Knowledge of Kronos and Paycor Software preferred. Eagerness to learn and being proactive in taking on new opportunities and challenges. Strong proficiency/experience in using Excel, Word and Outlook. A track record of good judgment and decision-making in positions with significant responsibility. Ability to be adaptable and flexible, handling changing priorities and conditions professionally. Must be extremely organized and be able to maintain a neat, clean and organized office environment as well as work processes including filing and document storage - physical and digital.
