Job Description:

Operations:

Reconcile payroll accounts i Review payroll journal entries for compliance with regulations Process journal entries to move funds to correct chartfields Run, analyze, review, and follow up on results of various queries of payroll accounts data to provide timely corrections as needed and ensure accuracy

Communications and Customer Service:

Manage daily interactions with departments regarding their questions and requests for guidance on payroll cost allocations Collaborate frequently with partners from other core offices Maintain collaborative relationships with campus through providing clear guidance and instruction via email or Teams.

Continuous Improvement:

Proactively analyze current processes, recommend solutions to leadership, and support implementation.

Special Projects:

Other duties as assigned by the department leadership

Expected Salary:

$55,000 - $65,000

Preferred:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field 2+ years of payroll accounting experience Strong analytical skills and proficiency with accounting software Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and business‑reporting abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team.
