Primary Responsibilities The Sr. Payroll Processing Specialist is responsible for supporting the technical aspects of the Payroll department with system knowledge, federal regulatory knowledge, individual state requirements, payroll knowledge, repayment knowledge, research and problem resolution. This is accomplished through processing payroll for each payroll cycle and executing technical payroll balancing responsibilities in regard to wage types, payroll earnings, taxes, deductions, payroll adjustments and assisting other business areas with the appropriate balancing techniques.
