Position Summary:

Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort is seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven Payroll Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for approximately 900 employees across a diverse, hospitality-focused workforce. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, values precision, and takes pride in supporting team members through reliable and efficient payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 900 employees using ADP, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all applicable laws and company policiesReview and audit timesheets, wage calculations, deductions, and adjustmentsMaintain employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and status changesEnsure proper handling of benefits deductions, garnishments, and tax withholdingsRespond promptly and professionally to employee payroll inquiries, providing excellent customer serviceCollaborate with HR and department leaders to ensure accurate employee data and timely updatesPrepare payroll reports and assist with audits as neededStay current on federal, state, and local payroll regulations to ensure ongoing complianceSupport continuous improvement initiatives to enhance payroll processes and efficiency

Qualifications:

2+ years of payroll processing experience, preferably in a high-volume or hospitality environmentExperience with ADP payroll systems strongly preferredStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrityStrong communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and other standard office applications

Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.

Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.

Able to walk the property as need for 2 or more hours in the natural elements as needed.

Must be able to work in a standard office environment and navigate a resort setting as needed.
