3 Days In Office; 2 Days Remote The Payroll Lead plays a crucial role in managing and processing employee payroll, ensuring accurate and timely compensation in compliance with company policies and regulations. You'll review timesheets, process payroll data, and manage deductions, benefits, and tax filings to ensure all employees are paid correctly. You'll also be responsible for managing and processing the complex commission structure for our team of internal sales representatives.
Responsibilities:
Process employee payroll and manage commission structures on a weekly basis. Calculate wages, deductions, bonuses, and overtime based on employee records. Handle employee payroll inquiries, as well as commission issues, and resolve them as they arise. Manage payroll data within the HRIS system with a focus on data integrity and accuracy. Record payroll with journal entries to the general ledger and reconcile payroll liabilities. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations. Maintain payroll records and reports for auditing purposes. Review payroll processes and reporting for improvements. Troubleshoot HRIS issues related to payroll data.
Requirements:
At least 5yrs of Employee Payroll Experience Prior Experience Managing Complex Commission Structures within a Large Organization (Preferably w/ at least 50 Representatives in a High-Volume Environment) Prior Experience Calculating Commissions, Making Adjustments, & Reconciliations Prior Experience with Payroll/Accounting Software, General Ledger Accounting, & Excel Skills Ability to effectively communicate with internal sales representatives to investigate and resolve commission-related issues. Ability to maintain strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and prioritization of accuracy.
