Controller Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Analyst to manage weekly payroll for a high-volume, multi-location operation. The ideal candidate is organized, tech-savvy, and capable of ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing while maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Process weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with all regulations. Reconcile timesheets, bonuses, deductions, and garnishments. Maintain and update employee records including new hires, terminations, and pay changes. Resolve payroll discrepancies in coordination with operations and HR. Ensure accurate calculation and payment of statutory withholdings (taxes, benefits, etc.). Prepare reports such as payroll summaries and tax reconciliation reports for management. Support employees with payroll inquiries and provide timely resolutions. Assist with annual tasks including W-2 processing and year-end reporting. Identify and suggest improvements for payroll procedures and efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of high volume hands-on payroll experience, preferably in a multi-location environment. Strong understanding of payroll systems and tax compliance. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. High attention to detail and accuracy.
