Job Summary:

The Payroll Specialist is responsible of preparing and processing all payroll activities for corporate and clinical team members and ensuring the timely and accurate payment of employee wages. Responsibilities Process bi-weekly payroll s including off-cycles for 2000 + employees. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations, including tax obligations and labor laws. Investigate and correct payroll discrepancies and errors, coordinate with HRIS/ Payroll System as appropriate Generate payroll and management reports as requested Asist with Year-end payroll activities including W2 and 1099 processing and audits. Work cross-functionally with other departments including accounting, finance, and operations Help determine and communicate policies that support the organization's needs Review and signoff on time sheets, resolve discrepancies with field leaders as needed. Assists with Audits of documents received and files documents into appropriate employee electronic files Respond to employee and agency inquiries regarding payroll matters Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is preferred. Minimum 3-5 years of payroll processing for both hourly and salaried employees.

Required or Specialized Skills:

Researches and responds to inquiries from team members, managers, and outside agencies and resolves issues that arise Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and highly sensitive personal information. Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, quality work. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including use of formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis for payroll reporting and reconciliation

Preferred Skills:

Experience with ADP systems preferred (ADP Lyric is and Workforce Manager are the HRIS/ Payroll system in place)
