POSITION TITLE
PAYROLLANALYSTREPORTS TO
DIVISIONALHUMAN RESOURCES MANAGERSUMMARY
The Payroll Analyst is responsible for leveraging data analytics to identify opportunities anddrive initiatives that enhance operational excellence, while also providing operational assistanceand processing payroll.DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIESProcess bi-weekly/weekly payroll using ADP platform.Process changes to employee records in ADP.Provide analytical reports to assist operations.
Audit payroll data: research, evaluate, and ensure payroll issues and discrepancies are resolved promptly.
Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
Prepare and maintain payroll records.
Drive initiatives that enhance operational excellence across the organization.
Assist in the development of new processes and procedures.
Serve as a resource and liaison between departments, employees, HR Business Partners, Controllers, and other internal or external groups.
Expected to quickly reprioritize work in order to minimize liability exposure for Pratt and its employees.
Special projects and additional duties will be assigned on a regular basis.
Comply with company policies and procedures.
Additional duties as assigned by management.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEHigh School Diploma or GED EquivalentMinimum of 2 years Payroll Related ExperienceExcellent oral and written communication skillsComputer literate (proficient in MS Office, & Google Platforms)Candidates are
PREFERRED
who offer the following:2 Year Associates DegreeExperience in manufacturingStrong recruiting backgroundFamiliar with garnishments, payroll tax, etc.ADP Vantage; Workforce Manager experience
LANGUAGE
SKILLSAbility to read and interpret financial statements, general business periodicals, professionaljournals, operating and maintenance instructions, regulatory laws and manuals, and proceduremanuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicateeffectively with customers and employees of the company.MATHEMATICAL
SKILLSAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions,and percentages.REASONING
ABILITYAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situationswhere only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnishedin written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.TECHNICAL
