The successful candidate must demonstrate extreme sensitivity to confidential information and must be detail oriented.
Responsibilities include:
Develop/Prepare and analyze HR and Payroll reports to support audit requirements, government requests, accounting, etc Submit reports to government agencies/auditors/accounting in an accurate and timely fashion. Support HR and Payroll to ensure compliance with federal, state and local payroll laws and regulations, including but not limited to tax withholding and reporting Respond to employee inquiries when needed about pay, resolving discrepancies, and providing guidance on payroll related matters Interact closely with Finance and prepare payroll or people cost related report for accounting purpose Prepare and interpret reports on payroll and people data from the global HRIS and local payroll system. Ensure accuracy of hours worked and pay Enter and update payroll data in Paychex Prepare, process and submit payroll related tax filings, ensuring they are done timely and in compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws Process off-cycle manual checks and adjustments as needed Reconcile quarterly and year-end payroll reports and W-2 forms to ensure accuracy Create payroll reports to support HR and benefits as needed. Train managers on reviewing/approving and correcting time cards and shifts Provide user system support when needed Collaborate with the Human Resources team to ensure all payroll items are updated correctly in Paychex. These include but aren't limited to benefit updates, bonuses, and pay changes Assist with the annual 401k audit Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor degree on accounting, or applied Maths, or related discipline Associates degree or certification in Accounting or combination of education and experience. 2 years of experience processing payroll preferred Strong analytical and data processing skills Sound communication skills Good attention to details Highly accountable and timeline sensitive Accounting knowledge or experience will be a plus Multi state payroll and compliance experience preferred Ability to generate reports, analyze, proactively look for issues and improvement areas Strong working knowledge of Excel (PowerBI as a plus) #INDAB Apply Now!
