Payroll Specialist

We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to support a restaurant and catering organization in Chicago, Illinois. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented payroll specialist who can manage high-volume processing with accuracy, maintain compliance across multiple states, and contribute to project-based payroll activities. The role calls for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and delivering reliable payroll support for a large employee population.

Responsibilities:

• Process end-to-end payroll for a large workforce, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on schedule.
• Administer payroll activities across multiple states while following applicable wage, tax, and compliance requirements.
• Review payroll data for completeness and accuracy, researching and resolving discrepancies before final submission.
• Utilize ADP Workforce Now to enter, validate, and maintain payroll records and reporting information.
• Support payroll-related project work, including implementation tasks and process coordination as needed.
• Partner with internal teams to address payroll questions, investigate issues, and provide timely resolution.
• Maintain organized payroll documentation and assist with audits, reconciliations, and reporting requests.
