Corporate Payroll Assistant

Job Description We are hiring for a Payroll Tax Support Specialist. In this full time position you will be responsible for the timely research and preparation of requested/necessary amended payroll tax returns and ensuring the accuracy of clients' federal, state, and local filings. Potential candidates should pose a BA or BS and 2+ years of payroll processing, payroll tax, or payroll analyst experience.

Position Details:

Full time, contract M-F schedule days Prepares amended tax returns using internal software Tracks status of new amended returns and adheres to departmental time lines Communicates with clients and management team regarding tax filing changes and operational issues Job Requirements A high school diploma required. BA or BS is preferred. 2+ years of payroll processing, payroll tax, or payroll analyst experience. Certified Payroll Professional certification or Certified Public Accountant certification, or degree in accounting US citizen or permanent resident status Successful completion of a drug screen and background check
