Position Overview The Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery is seeking to hire an Account Technician I for the Madden Mental Health Center located in Hines, Illinois to coordinate the payroll functions. Verifies all payroll input conforms with union contracts, personnel rules, and DHS policies. Calculating and processing payroll adjustments. Performs random on-site audits for each Timekeeping Group. Enters all pertinent information in a timely and accurate manner into the Payroll System. Essential Functions Performs technical accounting payroll functions for the Madden Mental Health Center, verifying payroll input conforms with union contracts, personnel rules, and Department of Human Services (DHS) policies. Coordinates and reviews MHF-183B's (Schedule Change Form) for accuracy and compliance to policy and procedures. Keyboards all pertinent information in a timely and accurate manner into the Payroll System. Function independently with established guidelines and work directly with other departments within the facility and the Department of Human Services Central Payroll Office.
