Strongly Specialized in Restaurant Payroll or at least a min of 3 years experience.. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees while maintaining compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills and proficiency in accounting software, as well as a solid understanding of corporate accounting practices. Duties Process payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy in hours worked, deductions, and benefits. Maintain employee records related to payroll, including new hires, terminations, and changes in pay rates. Collaborate with the Human Resources department to ensure accurate employee data management. Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed. Utilize accounting software such as Paychex to manage payroll entries and reports. Conduct data entry tasks related to payroll processing and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Analyze payroll data for discrepancies or errors and resolve issues promptly. Prepare reports on payroll metrics for management review. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations. Qualifications Proven experience in payroll processing or a similar role within corporate accounting. Strong understanding of double entry bookkeeping principles. Familiarity with accounts receivable and accounts payable processes is a plus. Proficient in using accounting software; experience with Paychex is preferred. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly. Proficient in data entry with a focus on accuracy. A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required.
