$25/hour to start Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Payroll Specialist to support payroll operations for a high-volume workforce. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, process-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. While payroll experience is a plus, we are willing to train the right candidate who is eager to learn and grow. Key Responsibilities Prepare and process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 100-300 employees Enter and maintain employee information within the payroll system Maintain accurate employee files and records Track and update employee data using Excel spreadsheets Perform high-volume data entry with accuracy Assist with light clerical duties, including filing, collating, and mailing Handle multiple projects with timelines and shifting priorities Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications & Skills Payroll experience preferred but not required Highly organized and process-driven Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent verbal and written communication skills General math proficiency 10-key by touch Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel Ability to multitask and manage a high-volume workload Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Additional Requirements Ability to work every other Sunday for payroll processing May be required to be on-call as needed Overtime is expected during payroll cycles Ideal Candidate Our ideal candidate is energetic, positive, self-motivated, and works well with others.
