This role offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 9:00am to 5:00pm in a casual office environment. This position will play an important role in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while supporting benefits administration and payroll-related accounting functions. The ideal candidate will be someone who enjoys working with numbers, has strong attention to detail, and takes pride in maintaining accurate records.
Job Duties:
Processing payroll using systems such as Paylocity, QuickBooks, Toast, and Excel Entering and maintaining employee payroll information with a high level of accuracy Reconciling payroll accounts and supporting general ledger accounting activities Preparing payroll-related journal entries and ensuring proper accounting documentation Assisting with employee benefits administration and responding to benefits-related questions Supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable functions related to payroll and vendor payments Reviewing payroll data, identifying discrepancies, and resolving issues promptly Maintaining organized payroll, benefits, and employee records for reporting and audit purposes Generating reports and assisting with payroll-related data analysis as needed
Requirements:
Previous payroll processing experience required Experience with Paylocity or a similar payroll management system Strong Excel skills and comfort working with multiple software platforms Ability to perform high-volume data entry accurately and efficiently Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities Understanding of payroll accounting, account reconciliations, and journal entries preferred It's a match for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to keep payroll and employee records running smoothly, has a knack for catching details others might miss, and takes pride in accuracy, organization, and confidentiality. Full benefits will be available upon hire.
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
