Compensation:

$40-42 per hour Boston-based Trust Company is looking for a contract Payroll professional who can assist the company with moving from Paychecks to Team Software Payroll. The contractor will be responsible for converting multiple trust payrolls over to the new system, ensuring that SOPs are in place and meet all compliance regulations. This professional will need to have payroll experience and basic accounting experience. Ideal candidate will have Payroll conversion experience.

Responsibilities :

Set up TEAM Payroll by trust EIN, doing this for multiple trusts that the firm manages Communicate with Trust Administrators and clients to ensure the highest level of customer service Set up multiple trusts on Team Payroll from Paychecks Make sure demographics are correct under each trust Set up multi-state deductions correctly and verify garnishments are correct Communicate with Paychecks and TEAM Software on payroll conversion Perform all pre-payroll tests by trust to make sure that the system is set up correctly Run payroll reports by trust Experience in writing SOP's This role will assist with payroll documentation from TEAM (transitioning from Paychex). Close out accounts in different states, handle system questionnaires, and ultimately run client payroll. Experience with A/P and Billing in a trust environment Process cash transactions, including disbursements, receipts, and multi-system reconciliations. Process securities transactions, free activity/settlements, and position reconciliations. Assist with client registrations and online account access 3-5 years of payroll experience (assumption is if they understand payroll, they understand billing and invoicing) Assist in account openings/closures, record-keeping, tax updates, and statement reviews.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is preferred, or 10 plus years' experience in Payroll Accounting and/or Bookkeeping experience Experience with payroll conversions from Paychecks Experience in processing multiple payrolls at once Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong system experience with Microsoft suite, Paychecks, ADP, or Paylocity and conversion experience.
