Advancing healthcare with heart Job Summary The Senior Payroll Analyst will perform and oversee all activities for processing assigned payrolls, including maintaining related records for all managed C&V and TAH subsidiaries. The incumbent is responsible for documenting and updating payroll process and procedures. She/he may train TAH Subsidiary payroll staff. This individual will verify compliance with federal and state payroll requirements and stay current with changes in the law. Job Details/Responsibilities o Processes payroll for several assigned business entities including Expatriate, Puerto Rico and Canada payrolls o Assist with Quarterly and Annual Audit by third party vendor (vehicle reimbursements, relocation, etc.) o Documenting and updating Payroll Procedures and Processes o Assist with the rollout of new processes, including regulation changes to TAH Subsidiaries o Facilitate and/or participate in biweekly payroll meetings with TAH Subsidiaries to discuss best practices and help resolve issues. o Research and prepare reports for Management such as – AAP requirements, Data Integrity, headcount/turnover, etc. o Enter and maintain 401k loan deductions and goals for TAH and its subsidiaries to ensure compliance with 401k plan document o Analyze, research and respond to taxing authority notices and inquires o Responsible for eTime security profile setup to ensure proper manager/user access, reset ADP Portal password and troubleshoot user access issues. o Facilitate payroll meetings with all TAH payroll staff to discuss changes in procedures and resolve issues. o Interact with Associates on payroll and tax related inquiries and take actions to lead to the resolution. o Assist with system upgrades, establishing testing criteria for updates and participate in User Acceptance and Parallel Testing o Perform other job-related duties as required o Finance and Accounting o Interface with Finance and Accounting personnel to maintain and update payroll and tax variable inputs into other related financial / budgeting and planning system. o Conducts various research projects and responds to inquiries related to payroll, taxes, credit/debit postings etc. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA) Knowledge of payroll processing reconciliations, reporting, and payroll tax compliance in a multi-state environment preferred Exercise discretion, judgement, confidential and tact in dealing with all issues Knowledge of various payroll and HRIS applications Strong organizational and communication skills Strong interpersonal skills Excellent analytical skills Ability to work effectively in teams Qualifications/ Background Experiences Associate degree and of minimum of 8 years of payroll specific experience, ADP Enterprise, ADP eTIME or equivalent combination of education, training and payroll work experience CPP designation a plus Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook It is Terumo's policy to provide equal employment opportunity to all its employees and applicants for employment regardless of their race, creed, color, national origin, age, ancestry, nationality, marital or domestic partnership or civil union status, sex, pregnancy, gender identity or expression, disability status, liability for military service, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, atypical cellular or blood trait, genetic information (including the refusal to submit to genetic testing), or any other category protected by law.
