The Payroll Analyst is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees while ensuring compliance with federal, state, local, and company payroll regulations. This role manages biweekly payroll activities, processes payroll transactions, audits payroll data, responds to employee inquiries, and maintains accurate payroll records. The Payroll Analyst works closely with Human Resources, Benefits, Finance, and third-party payroll vendors to ensure employees are paid accurately and on schedule. The role also supports payroll reporting, tax compliance, reconciliations, and continuous process improvement initiatives.Key Responsibilities:
Process biweekly payroll accurately and timely. Review and audit payroll data to identify and resolve discrepancies. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations. Maintain accurate and confidential payroll records. Research and respond to employee payroll inquiries. Coordinate with HR, Benefits, Finance, and third-party vendors on payroll-related matters. Support payroll tax filings, reporting, reconciliations, and compliance activities. Assist with payroll audits and year-end payroll processes. Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes, controls, and efficiency. Maintain knowledge of applicable payroll laws, regulations, and company policies.Benefits
