Job Description
Location:
Onsite at Horizons •Center, Saginaw, MI (moving to Corning Hemlock plant Summer 2024) [About the Role] Join our dynamic team as a Payroll/Timekeeper and play a critical role in the successful start-up of our new plant facility. As a key member of our finance team, you will ensure accurate and timely processing of employee time and attendance records using industry-leading systems. This opportunity is ideal for an organized, tech-savvy professional seeking to contribute to a fast-paced environment and advance their career with a recognized leader in the industry. [Responsibilities] Enter, update, and maintain employee time and attendance data in Kronos Verify accuracy of timesheets; investigate and resolve discrepancies Ensure compliance with timekeeping, payroll policies, and legal requirements Coordinate with HR and management to ensure accurate employee records Communicate clearly with employees and management to resolve payroll/time issues Obtain weekly time approvals and meet strict time extract deadlines Collaborate with payroll operations to address and resolve discrepancies Generate detailed reports on hours worked, overtime, and related metrics Prioritize multiple tasks, project work, and department initiatives Maintain accurate documentation and uphold confidentiality protocols Support timekeeping operations and contribute to process standardization [Required Skills and Experience] Proficient in MS Excel (including Pivot Tables) Experience with Kronos or similar time and attendance systems Detail-oriented with strong data entry and analytical skills In-depth knowledge of payroll procedures and regulations Effective communicator; able to interface with diverse stakeholders Self-driven, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities US citizenship or national status required (ITAR compliance) Ability to process and interpret large datasets [Preferred Skills] Bachelor s Degree Experience with Kronos/UKG Workforce Central or Pro Workforce Management Customer service experience [Benefits] Competitive pay: $16.65 $19.21/hr (supplier rates may vary) Comprehensive health and compulsory benefits package Opportunity to work in a cutting-edge, newly established facility Career growth within an innovative and expanding company Collaborative, team-based work environment [How to Apply] for the chance to join a high-performing team making an impact from day one.
