Summary:
Payroll Specialist II is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of employee wages while maintaining full compliance with internal policies. Payroll Specialist II will analyze payroll data and related expenses to provide insight for the management team. This position works closely with internal/external stakeholders.Responsibilities:
Review and validate payroll data in accordance with payroll cycles to ensure accurate and timely wage payments Establish and maintain effective processes to ensure the timely and accurate collection of payroll data Audit, maintain, and ensure data integrity across employee records, payroll systems, and time & attendance database Analyze payroll expenses and workforce data to provide reports to the management Respond to employee payroll inquiries in a timely manner Prepare payroll tax filing, W-2s, and amendments as required Supply payroll records for internal/external stakeholders as needed Perform any other payroll-related duties as assigned Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards:
Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container Perform other duties as assignedQualifications:
Bachelor's degree required, MBA or MS preferred, or equivalent, relevant experienceExperience:
3+ years of corporate payroll processing or related experience in manufacturing industrySkills:
Experience with ADP payroll strongly preferred Experience with SAP or other ERP and benefits systems is preferred Strong understanding of corporate payroll functions Strong judgment and discretion with highly confidential information Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel)Similar remote jobs
