PAYROLL SPECIALIST

  • Process weekly and biweekly payroll cycles for all employees.
  • Audit timesheets and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Manage payroll deductions, garnishments, and benefit changes.
  • Prepare and file quarterly payroll tax reports.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
  • Support internal and external audits related to payroll. Core Competencies
  • 2–5 years of payroll processing experience in a high-volume or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll tax laws and wage/hour regulations.
  • Experience with major payroll systems (ADP, Paycor, or Paychex).
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills.
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
