Payroll Clerk

We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to oversee payroll operations in Rosemount, Minnesota. This role requires ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee compensation, benefits deductions, and tax compliance, while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to regulations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting employees with payroll inquiries and contributing to the improvement of payroll processes.

Responsibilities:

• Process weekly payroll in compliance with federal, state, and company regulations.
• Manage tax withholdings and registrations, ensuring all filings and payments meet applicable laws.
• Handle deductions for benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and garnishments.
• Maintain and process wage garnishments and employment verification documents.
• Address and resolve employee inquiries related to payroll and paychecks.
• Update and maintain payroll records and databases with accuracy.
• Collaborate with departments to streamline and enhance payroll systems and procedures.
• Ensure the confidentiality of employee payroll and personnel information.
• Prepare detailed payroll reports for audits, tax filings, and internal use.
• Assist in onboarding new employees by explaining payroll processes and benefits enrollment.
