Payroll Clerk

Description Robert Half is seeking a Payroll Clerk to join the dynamic, fast-growing team. In this role, you will support the Payroll department in a variety of clerical duties, and you will be responsible for data entry, reconciliation of timecards, paycheck distribution and providing statements to various departments. You should have the ability to communicate effectively with both the internal team and outside customers. This Payroll Clerk opportunity is based in the Saint Paul, Minnesota area and is a long term contract employment role.

Responsibilities:

• Build and run custom reports out of ADP
• Correspond with employees via email and phone to garner approvals on timesheets
• Enter and audit union calculations via Excel as instructed
• Conduct clerical duties such as filing, scanning, faxing, photocopying, etc.
• Build a system of downloading and distributing reports
• Supply the organization with instructions/training regarding the use of payroll-related systems including entry of timesheets, online access of pay statements, etc.
• Data entry into ADP and Excel

• AA or BA/BS in Accounting or related
• Workday experience
• Payroll for over 500 employees experience highly desired
• Well-founded grasp of account reconciliation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written and listening)
