This is an entry-level, accounting-focused opportunity, but does not actually process payroll. The position is located onsite in the corporate headquarters in Concord, N.C. Interest in payroll accounting or benefits reconciliation.

Your career is waiting for you - so please apply now! What You Will Do What You Will DoReconcile payroll related accounts to the general ledger and resolve variances.

Assist with payroll related journal entries, accruals, and reclasses.

Analyze payroll expenses, taxes, deductions, and liability balances.

Support benefit deduction reconciliations, vendor invoice review, and discrepancy research.

Coordinate and reconcile 401(k) funding and documentation.

Assist with bank reconciliations for payroll related accounts.

Support escheatment activities for outstanding checks.

Assist with month end, quarter end, and year end close.

Prepare reconciliations, schedules, and supporting documentation.

Review payroll reports/interfaces to ensure accurate financial system results.

Maintain documentation of reconciliation processes and internal controls.

Assist with testing/validation for payroll, HRIS, benefits, or ERP changes.
