A day in the life of an Analyst, Payroll at VF looks a little like this. Reporting to the Director of Payroll Services, the Analyst, Payroll, is responsible for supporting the overall payroll team and operations for the United States, Puerto Rico, and Canada. This role is responsible for assisting with payroll processes, reporting, audits, system testing, and operational initiatives to ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll delivery. This role will also support and participate in payroll-related projects, performs testing for system enhancements and maintained documentation of payroll procedures. This position works closely with Payroll, HR, Finance, Tax, as well with external partners to resolve issues, support compliance requirements, and ensure operational effectiveness. Due to the sensitive nature of payroll information, the role requires a high degree of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality. Let's break down that day-in-the-life a bit more. Support payroll audits by gathering data, preparing reports, and providing documentation for internal and external audit requests. Assist with monthly payroll reconciliation activities, including payroll accrual support, general ledger validation, variance analysis, and provide resolution. Assist with payroll procedures, controls, and documentation to support compliance and data integrity. Analyze process improvement opportunities and assist with implementation efforts to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy. Participate in Workday and payroll system enhancements by supporting requirements gathering, testing, validation, and end-user support. Support cross-functional projects impacting all payroll functional areas. Extensively perform testing and validation for payroll system updates, integrations, configuration changes, and new processes. Investigate payroll system issues, analyze root causes, and coordinate resolution with internal teams and vendors. Monitor payroll support tickets and ensure timely research and resolution of employee and business inquiries. Support AI and automation tools capabilities to support and improve payroll reporting, analysis, documentation, and process efficiency while maintaining confidentiality and compliance. Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 1+ years of experience and professional achievements. The foundation skills you will need in this position are: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or related area preferred or equivalent work experience Workday experience preferred Ability to work weekends and some holidays as required Ability to work quickly and accurately with attention to detail under pressure and time constraints Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills are required. Hiring Range :
$52,800.00 USD - $66,000.00 USD annually
Incentive Potential :
