Job Description
We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to join a staffing and recruitment organization in Greensboro, North Carolina on a Contract basis. This role is ideal for someone who can manage payroll operations with accuracy, maintain reliable employee pay records, and support compliance across multiple payroll requirements. The successful candidate will play a key part in processing payroll from start to finish while ensuring deductions, taxes, and related documentation are handled correctly.
Responsibilities:
- Process full-cycle payroll for a large employee population, ensuring timely and accurate compensation each pay period.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date payroll records, verifying employee data and resolving discrepancies as they arise.
- Administer wage garnishments and other payroll deductions in accordance with applicable regulations and company policies.
- Calculate and apply federal, state, and local tax withholdings accurately for multi-state payroll activity.
- Use ADP Workforce Now to manage payroll transactions, review reports, and support ongoing payroll administration.
- Audit payroll output to identify errors, confirm compliance, and protect the accuracy of employee payments.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to address payroll questions, clarify records, and support efficient payroll operations.
